Herbal Tea
Use about 1-2 teaspoons of dried herbs or 1-2 tablespoons of fresh herbs per cup of hot water. Steep for 5-15 minutes, depending on desired strength, then strain and enjoy. Steps for making herbal tea:
-
Boil water: Heat filtered or bottled water to a boil.
-
Prepare herbs: Measure out 1-2 teaspoons of herbs
-
Steep: Place the herbs in your chosen steeping vessel.
-
Pour the boiling water over the herbs and cover to retain heat.
-
Steep time: Let the herbs steep for 5-15 minutes. The longer the steep, the stronger the flavor.
-
Strain and serve: Strain the tea to remove the herbs. You can use a fine-mesh strainer.
-
Enjoy: Add honey, sugar, or other sweeteners to taste.
*Store herbs in a dry, dark, cool space
